Is This What’s Holding You Back?? This One Thing Could Make All The Difference
(Part III)

And here we are with part III

Hey, Chris here from The Chris Meredith Method Training Studio,

Today I wanna talk to you about the 3rd and final part to this mindset series of blogposts by covering a VERY important piece of the pie
 VISUALIZATION.

Part I and part II can greatly improve the power of Visualization by putting your mind into the right gear to make positive or negative changes (make your visualizations positive for best results).

How To Visualize (PROPERLY):

Whe you hear the word visualization, you may think of and picture yourself thinner. What you need to do to make that more powerful, is to think of/picture all the supporting details that go along with it. For example: How much thinner do you picture your waistline? What size clothes will you be wearing? How will that make you feel? What will you do then, that you can’t/aren’t comfortable doing now? How much more energy will you have? How will you look at yourself in the mirror with a smile? Etc. Etc. You get the idea right?

If you’re looking to get in shape for a trip, wedding, class reunion, you can make your visualization more powerful by picturing how great it will feel to receive all the compliments from the people around you, or the sand beneath your toes (beach vaca:). This will all help you to put more emotion and conviction into your every step toward reaching your goals. Not to mention keep you on track every step of the way.

So, the visualization is a great help because you get motivated by seeing your dream coming to life. But there are a few more VERY important and powerful things you need to visualize to reach your goals in record time. Make a list of things that will help you reach your goal when you do them. And also make a list  of things that will cause you setbacks. For example: Will eating that pastry with your 500+ calorie frapaccino help you trim inches? Not likely. So what you need to do is visualize yourself getting offered that combo of fat boosting pastry and beverage and then you say “no thanks” without regret. Visualize the next time you think about skipping your workout, and instead of wussing out, ya dig down deep and get into the gym, do your workout and feel great afterwards! These are just examples, but use your imagination and put some passion into your dreams, no matter how big or small they are.

This is your commitment to yourself and do something wonderful. Don’t cheat yourself out of something so great as achieving your every goal. You’ll be happier as a result and that just means that you’ll spread more happiness with the people around you.

Now go out there and get to it! :) If you have any questions about mindset and how it effects your health & fitness, please feel free to ask by leaving your comment at the end of this post, or you can always call me to schedule a FREE consultation.

Make it a great day!

Is This What’s Holding You Back?? This One Thing Could Make All The Difference
(Part II)

Hey, Chris from HardCore Fitness Studio here,

Saturday I made  post about the one thing that could make all the difference. Mindset is the key and there are 3 very important & powerful weapons we all have in our arsenal: Meditation, Positive Affirmations, and Visualization. In the first post I left you with some simple steps you take to meditate and focus your mind (it’s important to focus your mind before taking the next step). Today’s post is covering step 2:

Positive Affirmations:

Once you’ve focused your mind, you’re subconscious is more easily persuaded to improve your mindset the way you want it to. I know you practiced your meditation, so here are the steps to making your most effective Positive Affirmations.

  1. First, recount your goals. For example: lose 20lbs. First, don’t lose anything. Your subconscious will only look for ways to find it and gain it back. Instead, eliminate it, throw it away, burn it, abolish it
Whatever word you choose, make sure it is in the form of throwing away your bodyfat. We don’t seek ways to get garbage back.
  2. Second, be thankful for what you have (may sound silly, but it REALLY helps to have positive vibes).
  3. Make your affirmation using words in a way to suggest that it is completely in your power to create your desired outcome. For example: “I am so happy and greatful, because I know I have everything I need, and I will apply it all, to abolish 20lbs of my unwanted bodyfat”

It’s that simple! :) Now that you have armed yourself with your very own powerful Positive Affirmation, you’re ready to apply it
And it’s REALLY EASY! Here’s how:

Step 1, meditate and focus your mind

Step 2, now that you are focused, use your Positive Affirmation and repeat it in your mind over and over again. Do this twice daily with your meditation.

Be sure and look for the next post where I will cover the detailed steps on using powerful Visualizations to finalize your mindset training.
